I know it’s not a question that you might get asked often, “Do you fancy camping out overnight with a few thousand pigs as company?” But it is one that Helen Browning from Eastbrook Farm is very keen to ask.
According to Helen, there are very few better things in life than awakening to “the sound of about 1,000 pigs yawning“.
Helen opens up her organic farm for a few days every year, and this years Camping With Pigs Weekend will take place between Thursday to Sunday, August 16th to 19th.
There is also a live music event happening on the Saturday night at the farm aptly named ‘Pigstock‘ where headline acts such as Caitlin Bowles, Bob Bowles Band, Cheesehouse Band, Manifest Infringement, and Tom Woodburn will all be appearing under a marquee in the pub garden from about 7.00pm. Entry is free.
